Arizona Water Reuse 2009 Conference

Arizona Water Reuse 2009 has been organized  by WateReuse Arizona and the AZ Water Association Reuse Committee as an exchange of information and experience related to water reuse planning, implementation, and operation.

General Information


Location

  • On site: All conference sessions will be held at the Radisson Woodlands Hotel. The dinner on Monday night will be held at Snow Bowl Lodge, on the San Francisco Peaks.
  • Off site: The General Session and Session A on Thursday, and Session A and Regulatory Panel on Friday, will be Webcast at the following off-site locations:

     - Tucson: Hayden-Udall Water Treatment Facility  (Breakroom Facility) 4401 S. Tucson Estates Parkway, Tucson, AZ
     - Phoenix: Phoenix Water Services Department (9th floor Training Room) City Hall – 200 West Washington Street, Phoenix, AZ

    Off-site registration is limited to the first 30 registrants per location.

Meals

  • On site: Included in the conference registration fee are daily meals including continental breakfast, snacks and refreshments at breaks, and lunch and dinner on Thursday.
  • Off site: Lunch and refreshments will be provided.

Cancellation and Refunds

If you must cancel your conference enrollment, please notify Debbie Muse at musegroup@aol.com. No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after the conference begins. Substitutions are allowed for individuals unable to attend the conference.

Professional Development Hours

Professional Development Hours (PDHs) are available for attending the conference technical sessions. A maximum of 8.5 PDHs may be awarded based upon your attendance. Participants will be issued a certificate to indicate the number of PDHs attended during the conference.

A block of rooms has been set aside for conference attendees through July 13th. The room rate of $114 per night will be honored thereafter for conference attendees, but only based on availability of rooms. Ask for group sales and mention the “Water Reuse Conference” to receive the discounted rate.

Conference attendees are encouraged to take advantage of the conference being on a Thursday and Friday, by staying for the weekend and enjoying everything Flagstaff has to offer in the summer.
